Orbital Mechanics Paper with Mathematica® Code

Orbital Mechanics Project

Elliptic orbits are covered with derivations and also Mathematica® code to illustrate the velocity vector as, for example, a satellite orbits the Earth. Also covered, with Mathematica® code included, is the position of a satellite with specified time (time of flight). The paper is Licensed under GPL3. The Mathematica® code is also Licensed under GPL3. To access the Project with PDF Paper and Mathematica® Code follow this link. Also click on the image of an Elliptic Orbit below. All steps in the derivation of the equations for Orbital Mechanics are included with the special case of Elliptic Orbits. Example Orbits include the Space Station and Juno’s orbit around Jupiter.
